The 2026 Lagos City Marathon delivered pure inspiration, grit, and unforgettable moments as thousands of runners took on the 42km challenge. Standout performances:
- Women’s 42km Gold: Meseret Dinke (Ethiopia) in a blazing 2:37:36
- Men’s 42km Gold: Ezra Kipchumba Kering (Kenya) stormed to victory in 2:11:55
- First Nigerian finisher: Boyi S. Nyango crossed in an impressive 2:25:32
Beyond the podium, the real story was in every runner who refused to quit – from elite athletes to everyday individual pushing their limits.
