Spotlighting Remarkable Women and Girls

Raising Women Magazine Issue 046 – June 2026

Editor's Note

There are seasons in life when strength is celebrated so loudly that we forget to ask what it costs. This issue of Raising Women Magazine is an invitation to pause and consider the invisible weight so many women carry. Across these pages, we explore wellness not as a luxury or aesthetic, but as the courage to heal, to rest, to question, and to choose ourselves without apology.

From our cover conversation with Dr. Joyce Omatseye on building lives rooted in sustainable wellbeing, to reflections on emotional labour, burnout, women’s health, modern relationships, workplace culture, and the evolving expectations placed upon women, a common thread emerges: women deserve more than survival. We deserve wholeness.

You will also find thoughtful conversations on fashion, culture, science, and the everyday realities shaping women’s lives around the world. Each story reminds us that healing is rarely a single moment. It is a practice. It is found in community, in honest conversations, in better healthcare, in meaningful work, and sometimes simply in granting ourselves permission to slow down.

My hope is that this issue encourages you to extend to yourself the same compassion you so freely offer others. Because when women are truly well, families flourish, communities thrive, and the future changes with them.
